Sold-Out 400-Capacity Live Show, Planned & Marketed in One Month
OVERVIEW
The Brief
Ajay Sax Live needed a full event marketing campaign built around a single ticketed show at Theatre of Digital Art (TODA), inside Souk Madinat Jumeirah, one of Dubai’s most distinctive performance venues. Instamallglobal came on as the event’s marketing partner with one month to take the show from announcement to a sold-out 400-capacity room.
The mandate covered the full stack: audience-building content, sponsor communications, and a combined sponsor deck to help offset production costs, alongside the outreach needed to move tickets in a single month.

The Challenge
–A hard one-month runway to sell 400 tickets for a single-night show, with no room to course-correct on a longer timeline.
–Production costs (MEI backline and Vince Pro Audio) that needed to be offset through sponsorship rather than carried entirely by the show’s own budget.
–A ticketed live show competes for attention differently than a private activation, meaning the campaign had to drive actual purchase decisions, not just awareness.
–Sponsor communications had to land quickly and credibly enough to close production partnerships within the same compressed window as ticket sales.
Our Approach
The campaign ran ticket-sales cntent and sponsor outreach in parallel rather than treating them as seperate workstreams, since both had to close inside the same one-month window.
–Sales-driving LinkedIn content: a structured content run built to create momentum toward the show and push ticket conversions rather than pure brand awareness.
–Sponsor communications and a combined sponsor deck: outreach material built specifically to secure production support, resulting in MEI providing backline and Vince Pro Audio providing sound production
–Venue-led positioning: the campaign leaned into TODA’s distinctive digital-art setting inside Souk Madinat Jumeirah as a selling point in its own right, not just a backdrop.
–Compressed campaign sequencing: content, sponsor conversations, and ticket-sales pushes were sequenced tightly enough to hit a sold-out room inside the one-month deadline.
What We Delivered
–A full LinkedIn content campaign supporting ticket sales for the show.
–Sponsor communications used to secure production partners.
–A combined sponsor deck covering production costs, aligned to MEI (backline) and Vince Pro Audio (sound).
–End-to-end event marketing partner coordination from announcement through sold-out night.
The Result
Ajay Sax Live sold out its full 400-capacity room at TODA, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, on a one-month timeline. Production costs were offset through sponsor partnerships secured directly through the campaign, with MEI supplying backline and Vince Pro Audio supplying sound production, rather than the show absorbing those costs alone.
The core win is speed at scale: taking a single live show from zero to a sold-out 400-capacity night, with sponsor backing in place, inside one month. That’s the model this case study is built to demonstrate for future ticketed and live-event clients.
Why It Worked
–Parallel workstreams: ticket-sales content and sponsor outreach ran at the same time instead of in sequence, which is what made the one-month timeline realistic.
–A sponsor deck built to close, not just inform: aligned specifically to production needs (backline, sound) rather than a generic sponsorship pitch.
–Venue as a selling point: TODA’s setting was used as part of the pitch to ticket buyers, not treated as incidental.
–Full-stack ownership: one marketing partner running content, sponsor relations, and event coordination kept messaging consistent from announcement to sold-out night.
